This year we are very excited to present the 4th Annual Casino Night in honor of Stacey Ziccardi. Stacey grew up in the Argo community and was an Argo Alumna, but so much more. She was a pillar of strength, love, and trust within the school community.
As the dedicated president of the Argo Higher Education Foundation, Stacey's leadership helped provide thousands of dollars in scholarships to Argo graduates. She poured her heart and soul into Casino Night, creating a fun and successful event that has grown this foundation's charitable efforts. It is in Stacey's memory that we carry it on.
The 4th Annual Casino Night will be at Crystal Sky Banquets on Friday, February 28th at 6:30 p.m. We aim to entertain our supporters and benefactors with Las Vegas-style gaming, testing the luck and skill of all of our participants.
We are still looking for event sponsors and raffle prizes to help make this night a success. For more information or to help, please click the button below.
In Memoriam Stacey Ziccardi
Stacey Ziccardi grew up in the Argo community and was an Argo Alumna, but so much more. She was a pillar of strength, consistency, and trust within the school community and in her English classroom. She was the dedicated president of the Argo Higher Education Foundation, which under her leadership has provided thousands of dollars in scholarships to Argo graduates. She poured her heart and soul into the school and the students and was a constant ray of positivity, who believed in every student she encountered. It is with great sadness that the foundation remembers and honors Stacey. She will be missed by many in our community.
About the Foundation
The Argo Higher Education Foundation
Was founded in 1964 by local businesses to provide financial assistance to deserving Argonauts to continue their post-secondary education. Each year about eight seniors are awarded these scholarships which are renewed each year provided that the students remain in good academic standing.
This foundation is funded solely on individual donations and profits made from our fundraisers. The foundation is looking to expand its fundraising efforts in order to maintain, and hopefully expand, scholarship opportunities for our students.
All donations are tax deductible, to the extent allowed by law, and checks can be made to the Argo Higher Education Foundation. An investment in our youth of today is an investment in the future. Thank you for the continued support of our Argonauts.

I always dreamed of becoming a teacher and giving back to the community and school that helped me become who I am, and this scholarship definetly helped me on this journey. Now I'm back, teaching and helping out the community and school that did so much for me, Argo High School."
Sarah Seiwart, Class of 1997
The leadership opportunities that I had at Argo Community High School prepared me for college and my career over the years. I’m thankful for the Argo Higher Education Foundation and the scholarship I was awarded to help me pursue my bachelors at Loyola University."
Dr. Blair Nuccio, Class of 1986
Without the financial assistance I received from various organizations and institutions, such as the Argo Higher Education Foundation, my post-secondary pursuits would have been extremely difficult for my parents and me to make my dreams come true. For that, I am very grateful."
